The first steps that you should take if you’ve been arrested for DUI. The most important step is to hire a lawyer. Hire a lawyer that knows DUI cases inside and out, frontwards and backwards, and that can help navigate you through the process. The next step is going to be to hopefully obtain a hardship license in order to have you maintain your ability to drive for work, school, church, grocery store, doctor’s appointments, things like that. And then the step after that is letting your attorney take over and handle pointing out all the deficiencies in your case to hopefully get you the best outcome in your DUI case.
